Heritage SK-AT
In the border region Slovakia-Austria, the cultural offer in the border region is expanded, developed and used through joint cross-border activities within the framework of the Heritage SK-AT project. The creative potential of the region is to be utilised through the creation of suitable spaces. The target groups are artists, artisans, winegrowers and the general population and tourism in the region.
The activities of the project focus primarily on the creation of a cultural-creative centre in Modra Castle and Jedenspeigen Castle. This includes adapting the rooms to expand the historical exhibition with a cross-border reference (Slovakia/Austria) as well as setting up a vinotheque and rooms for joint events. Other activities include the promotion of traditions in the border region through cultural and artistic events, the organisation of cross-border specialist seminars, wine competitions, open studio days and the creation of a digital documentation centre.
